YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER

Where you will go when you die, is the most important decision you will ever make.  That’s right, it is your decision, and you also get to decide whether or not you want a relationship with your Heavenly Father.  Regardless of your home situation you have a chance to somewhat reconcile that event by seeking your Heavenly Father.  The first step toward a successful life is confirming that you have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.  God wants you to rest in Him as your Heavenly Father.  He will never leave, and will never forsake you (Heb. 13:5).  All you must do is accept His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour.  John 3:16 shows that God Loved us so much that He made a way for us to go to Heaven, by sending His only begotten Son.  The following verses will show you how to accept this free gift that your Heavenly Father has laid right in front of you.

The central theme of the Bible is that we can know for certain when death comes, we will live in the presence of God in Heaven.  How can we know for sure we will go to Heaven when we die?  It is as simple as A-B-C

Admit - You are a sinner.  Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."  You must realize that you are a sinner.  Have you ever lied, cheated, said a curse word, or disrespected an elder?  If so, then you have sinned before, and admitting you are a sinner is the first step.  Every person has sinned.  Also, you need to realize that the punishment for sin is death: Romans 6:23a "For the  wages of sin is death"

Believe - Jesus Christ died for your sins.  Romans 5:6,8 "For when we were yet without strength, in due to Christ died for the ungodly.  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."  This is our hope, out of God’s love for us, He sent His Son to die for our sins.  Also God's gift is an eternal life in Heaven, that is right, it is eternal! Romans 6:23b "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Call -  You just have to call upon Jesus to save you.  Romans 10:13 "For Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  That is correct, it is as simple as the ABC's, do it today!  Admit it, Believe it, and Call upon Him!  Now Pray the Suggested Prayer Below.

SUGGESTED PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you now realizing that I am a sinner, and the punishment for my sins is death and eternity in Hell.  I know that your son is the only hope I have of eternity, I believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and this day, I ask Him into my heart as my personal Savior.  I thank you for this the free gift of eternal security, and I will strive to live my life from this day forward in a way that honors and pleases you.
