One important item that I do not want you to forget is that you are NOT ALONE! Repeat after me, "I AM NOT ALONE!" If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, then you are definitely not alone! You will never be alone. You and I have a friend in Jesus that is always there for us. No matter what time of the day, we can talk to Him, ask Him for comfort, and seek advice from Him. Jesus loves you and wants you to succeed on this journey. When I was in high school, I was at youth group on a Wednesday night, and my youth pastor told us an interesting sotry. Here is a summary of that story:
His father was on a mission's trip in Haiti, and they were driving through the jungle one night in a pickup truck. His father was in the back of the pickup truck. Suddenly several Haitian natives appeared from out of nowhere and began to surround their vehicle. These natives were chanting evil sayings. It was evident that these men were evil and were out to destroy these missionary workers. In fear and trembling the missionaries began singing There is Power In the Blood. These evil natives, now pressed up against the vehicle began to back away and in an instance they disappeared.
Though I heard this story such a long time ago, it still amazes me, because it shows that God is always with us. It proves that no matter how alone you or I may feel we are actually not alone at all. As Christians God is always here. We have the Power of the Blood of Jesus Christ to get us through anything. I challenge you today to rest in the Power of the Blood. The Bible says in Hebrews 13:5 "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
