Have you ever had any thoughts about giving up along your fatherless journey?  I am sure that you have.  I know I did.  Since the journey is so difficult and there are so many obstacles, many individuals either postpone the climb for an extended period of time or never make the climb at all.  Sadly most individuals defeated by the fatherless mountain usually do not succeed to their fullest potential for the rest of their life.  They try to move on, but with the several unresolved life issues associated with the fatherless journey they come short of succeeding at many other aspects of life.  I personally had several friends that chose to lie down, and be defeated and today they are facing a multitude of consequences including addiction, abuse, jail time, bitterness, unsuccessful life tracts, teen pregnancies, and much more.  The statistics are not a joke, and failing to conquer this mountain in your life may lead you to becoming one of them.  I want to challenge you as you go along your journey to not give up for the consequences are too great to bear, and they will affect you for the rest of your life.  The Bible says in  Ephesians 5:14-17: “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.  See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.  Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.”  Be sure to redeem the time that you have, be not a fool, but be wise.  Wisdom comes from prayer and Bible Study, start seeking wisdom today!
